WHAT IS H.A.L.O?

H.A.L.O... "His Amazing Love Outpoured", is a faith based program offered to girls without Fathers due to death. The program is designed to address weekly topics such as  loss of a Father, sadness, low self esteem, loneliness, acceptance, trust, healthy friendships, positive attitude, finding hope etc. A French style barn with loving horses is just one of the keys to mending broken or saddened hearts. Our quaint front room setting will also embrace the girls as they share and develop deeper relationships with girls who are experiencing the same emotions due to not having a Father in their lives.   

WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE?

Our purpose is to be a preventative program that helps girls work through the absence of their Fathers through horses, new friendships and mentoring. 

 

 

STATISTICS ABOUT GIRLS WITHOUT FATHERS:

*63 % of teen suicides come from fatherless homes.
*90% of homeless/runaway teens come from fatherless homes.
*85% of teens with behavioral problems come from fatherless homes.
*71% of all High School drop outs come from fatherless homes.
*75% of all adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers come from fatherless homes.
*85% of all youths in prison come from fatherless homes.

Daughters of single parent homes without a Father involved are 
53% more likely to marry as teens.
711% more likely to have babies as teens.
92% more likely to divorce young.
